Kellie Martin. Martin is an American television and film actress. She is most famous for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's well-known for playing the lead role in The Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department store buyer as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin was able to begin her career in acting at the young age of seven when her aunt, who was a nanny for Michael Landon's children was able to help her get an appearance in the 1982 series 'Father Murphy'. In the years following the time of her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting and was able to land substantial roles in the film and television industries. Martin has also been an artist and photographer. As a mother to two kids, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. Martin has been spreading the word about Lupus since the time her sister's death due to the disease at 19.
