Kellie Martin is an American film and television actress best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston in the period drama'Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On as well as Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her role as the main character in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin is the daughter of a department-store buyer and kindergarten teacher, started her career as an actress at age seven. Her aunt who served as a nanny to Michael Landon's kids helped Martin land a role in 1982 series "Father Murphy". When she graduated at Yale University she began to become serious about acting with roles that she was able to land on the small and large screen. Martin as well as being a skilled dancer and actress, is also a skilled ballet photographer. Two-time mother, she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and is constantly raising awareness about the condition since her sister died of it in the age of 19.
